Yubah Sanogo is an Ivorian artist residing in Grand-Bassam (Ivory Coast). He is a graduate of the Technical Center for Applied Arts in Bingerville. His mentors are Master Samir Stenka and Virginia Ryan. He worked on the creation of the works thanks to the clothes of the dozos located in the North of the Ivory Coast (brotherhood of hunters). According to him, the sewing of these outfits shows solidarity between the members of this brotherhood and are a symbol of reconciliation with each other. After the dozos, he paints cobwebs, today the sky is his main subject and more particularly, the stars.
His technique is the minimalist dotted line, for him it represents the living beings that live on this planet, a gathering, love and cohesion.
